Legal Size Forms
To execute and record a Release of Deed of Trust, use one of the following forms.The following are legal size forms, you must be able to print on legal size paper to use these forms.
- Full or partial release of deed of trust with evidence of debt (PDF). The form is on page 1 with instructions on page 2.
- Full or partial release of deed of trust without evidence of debt (PDF) (Only qualified holders can release without evidence of debt). The form is on page 1 with instructions on page 2.
- Requirements of a Lost Instrument/Corporate Surety Bond (PDF) Except when held by a "qualified holder", the original Promissory Note or Evidence of Debt must be provided with the Release of Deed of Trust form. If the original promissory note cannot be located or is destroyed, you may provide a Lost Instrument bond and use the release form without evidence of debt. This document contains the requirements of the bond.
