District 1 - 3/24/23

County Crews worked hard pushing back berms on CR 58P.   The road has been widened and is passable from HWY 62 to True Grit Ranch.

Crews were not able to clear the wind-blown areas on County Roads 56V or 56L.  Both areas remain snow-covered.  Motorists are asked to use alternate routes to bypass the closed sections.
CR 56V: Access is open from HWY 62 to Old Elam Rd.  56V remains closed at the intersection of CR 58P west to Old Elam Rd.
CR 56L:  Open From 60M to Sound of Music Ln and From Elk Creek to East Anderson Ln.

Road and Bridge recommend when traveling on narrow roadways due to berms and drifted snow, please go slow and do not attempt to drive over drifted sections.  Backup or turnaround if uncertain.  Yield to approaching vehicles if you are at a safe place to pull to the side.

All high country passes are closed.

District 2

The Norwood - Dolores road is closed.

Update 3/24/23

CR 31U, access to Miramonte Reservoir remains open but the road is narrow.  Slower speeds are advised.
