Building Department Inspection Request Requirements
Inspections are performed Monday through Thursday. We do not perform inspections on Fridays. Please call 970-728-3923 by 3:00 p.m. the day prior to the inspection, and to schedule an inspection please provide the following information:
1. Name of person making the request and phone number (provide name and number of person onsite if different).
2. Permit number as it appears on the Building Permit.
3. Address of the requested inspection as it appears on the Building Permit.
4. Date of the requested inspection and if desired for A.M. P.M (note that staff and ability to grant specific inspection times are limited).
5. The type of inspection requested (i.e. footing, framing, etc.).
6. Whether inspection will be a full or partial inspection.
7. Location of plans, gate codes, house codes
If you need to cancel an inspection please call 970-728-3923 as soon as possible. All failed inspections and subsequent re-inspections are subject to re-inspection fees pursuant to Resolution 2020-034.
