The Emergency Preparedness Program was started in 2001 and we continue to build the county's ability to respond quickly to a public health disaster by working with our local stakeholders including,
- San Miguel County Emergency Manager
- Fire District Personnel
- EPR Coordinator
- San Miguel County Sheriff
- Health Officer
- Regional Epidemiologists and the Emergency Preparedness and Response Team from the Mesa County Health Department
- R1 and R2 School Districts
- Telluride Medical Center
- Uncompahgre Medical Center
- Local approved volunteers through Colorado Volunteer Mobilizer
