Emergency Preparedness Program

The Emergency Preparedness Program was started in 2001 and we continue to build the county's ability to respond quickly to a public health disaster by working with our local stakeholders including,

  • San Miguel County Emergency Manager
  • Fire District Personnel
  • EPR Coordinator
  • San Miguel County Sheriff
  • Health Officer
  • Regional Epidemiologists and the Emergency Preparedness and Response Team from the Mesa County Health Department
  • R1 and R2 School Districts
  • Telluride Medical Center
  • Uncompahgre Medical Center
  • Local approved volunteers through Colorado Volunteer Mobilizer
