[ARCHIVED] Bridal Veil Trail Bridge to be Installed Oct. 19

A topo map of the Bridal Veil Creek Trail

The new Bridal Veil Trail Bridge will be installed next Tuesday, October 19th, at 9:00 a.m. The lower portion of the Bridal Veil Trail will be closed that day (from the parking area up to the base of the falls), but the parking lot and CR K69 will remain open and the contractor will utilize that area for staging purposes.

In early 2020, the San Miguel County Parks and Open Space Department was awarded grant money (matched by the County and the Telluride Mountain Club) to help fund the building and installation of the bridge, which will be located approximately 0.3 miles up the trail from the Valley View parking lot. The Ingram Creek Bridge will allow safe, consistent pedestrian use of the trail during high-water flows.
