Available until June 11th, take advantage of Greenlights LED Light Bulb program today! Greenlights allows you to purchase LEDs at up to 75% off retail price. Each LED light bulb you purchase can save you about $80 in electricity costs over the lifetime of the bulb.


Greenlights is a rebate program sponsored by San Miguel Power Association (SMPA) and supported by Telluride Foundation and participating governments. This program allows residents and businesses the opportunity to purchase LED light bulbs at an extremely discounted rate of up to 75% off.

SMPA supports the GREENLIGHTS special promotional program by allowing the SMPA LED bulb rebate to be assessed in the upfront cost of the bulbs, at the time of ordering. Further, participating governments are matching half of the SMPA rebate bringing the total rebate up to 75% off per bulb.

EcoAction Partners GREENLIGHTS Program is being offered throughout the region, here is the list of participating areas:

  • Towns: Mountain Village, Telluride, Ouray, Ridgway, Rico, Naturita and Nucla
  • Counties: San Miguel, Montrose, Dolores and Ouray County

The GREENLIGHTS program’s mission is to encourage everyone to switch over to LED light bulbs to save money, reduce energy use, and ultimately help the environment.
