PRIMARY ELECTION

Date of election: June 26, 2018

Registered Democrats and registered Republicans will receive their respective party ballots.

Unaffiliated voters can now participate in the upcoming Colorado primaries.

The law only allows you to vote in ONE primary.  Ballots will be mailed the first week of June and you can choose NOW to receive just one in the mail, instead of both a Democratic and a Republican ballot. The deadline to do so is May 29, 2018.

It is quick and easy to get JUST ONE ballot in the mail...

Go to www.govotecolorado.com and update your voter registration with a "party preference".

  * Verify your voter registration, current party affiliation, physical address, mailing address, and make any necessary updates.

  * Pick the party's ballot you want to receive.

  * If you do not choose a ballot preference by May 29, 2018, don't worry. Just know that you will receive both ballots in the mail. Remember to fill out ONLY ONE, and return it.

  * Picking the ballot of a political party does not affiliate you with either of these major political parties, it just ensures that only one ballot is mailed to you, instead of both.
