[ARCHIVED] Norwood Trash and Recycling Station to Begin Charging Fees

Multiples waste receptacles in a row

On June 1st, the Norwood Trash and Recycling Station will begin charging pay-to-throw fees for trash disposal (recycling will remain free to the public). The transfer station will only accept credit or debit cards - cash will be accepted at the County Finance Office in Norwood. The fees are as follows:

  • Up to  32 gallon - $5.25
  • 55 gallon can or bag - $9.25
  • Loose, uncontained trash - $34 per cubic yard
