BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR BURGLARY SUSPECT


Deputies are investigating two burglaries that occurred Down Valley early this morning and ask that the public be on the lookout for a white male in mid-late 30s around 6 ft tall, stocky build, bearded with dark hair, driving a roughly 2010-2015 White Crew-cab Pickup Truck, possibly a Dodge, possibly a diesel with loud exhaust. There may be bullet holes in right rear and/or back of vehicle. 


The two burglaries occurred between 1:35am-1: 55 am this morning (Monday, May 20th) believed to be by the same individual. The first was at the Sawpit Mercantile. The second immediately followed at the Placerville M&M Mercantile where the owner reportedly fired shots at the fleeing vehicle.
