[ARCHIVED] Please Do Your Part!

**Please: DO YOUR PART!**
From San Miguel County Medical Officer Dr. Sharon Grundy:
Based on new guidance from federal and state health officials, effective immediately and at least for the next 30 days, you should avoid attending large events or gatherings (greater than 75 people). This morning we asked all county event planners and venues to voluntarily cancel their large events effective immediately and for the next 30 days, and we thank them for listening.
In addition, everyone should practice “social-distancing” staying at least 6 feet away from others in social settings to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus). This is not a time to panic, but rather a time to be reasonable, prepared at home and at work and diligent with good hygienic practices.
