San Miguel County is currently facing a $1.2 million revenue reduction in 2021 due to TABOR and the Gallagher Amendment. Residents of San Miguel County are being asked to decide whether or not the Board of Commissioners can adjust its mill levy, if needed, to allow the County to maintain a stable revenue stream from property taxes if the state legislature changes the assessment rates in the future, with or without passage of Amendment B (State ballot measure).
