From EcoAction Partners:
We’re excited to announce this event for regional businesses (including nonprofits), as part of our new Community Climate Education & Action Series, in partnership with Telluride Rotary Club, EcoAction Partners, Wilkinson Public Library, and others - part of the Community Climate Education & Action series we started last year, expanded this year to also be part of an exciting new ALA (American Library Association) Resilient Communities program!
Join us on March 25, 6-7 p.m. for our panel session via Zoom, to learn about resources available to help businesses become more “green”/environmentally sustainable in ways that also make good business sense, and hear directly from some of our local businesses helping to lead the way with Green Business!
This event will feature a panel discussion, with panelists including representatives from EcoAction Partners, Colorado Dept Public Health & Environment, San Miguel Power Association (SMPA), Black Hills Energy, Jagged Edge, La Cocina de Luz, and Sustaio; facilitated by Madeline Gonzalez Allen (Environmental Officer, Telluride Rotary Club; Telluride Ecology Commission; Co-Founder, InnoVital.)
OTHER UPCOMING EVENTS & ACTIONS/PROJECTS WILL INCLUDE:
Forest Health Forum (Sheep Mountain Alliance, Telluride Ecology Commission)
Continuation of our Regional Tree-Planting Initiative working with several community partners (a primary call to action from the 2020 Climate Education & Action series)
